About Global Access Control
Global Access Control will enable you to manage Access Control on directory level.
The principle is that each user will have to log in from a Global Access Login Screen, with a User Name and a Password, and from there will have access to one, selected or all companies, as pre-defined in the Global Access Control by the Super User or a VIP Payroll Consultant.
Maximum number of users is limited to 142 per directory.
It is very important that when Global Access is activated for the first time, that all users are out of the system, as all the current normal Access Control will be deleted.
Make a Full System Backup and print the Zone Codes as set up per user, per company.
Advantages of Global Access Control
- Access is maintained from one central point.
- The Global Access Login Screen:
- Will allow users into the directory,
- Will allow users to change their password,
- Apply Password Control Rules, and
- Will allow only the companies on this user’s profile to be visible after login.
- A Super User is clearly defined administrative capabilities such as:
- Loading new users,
- Restricting current user access, and
- Changing access rules per company.
- A Summary Screen provides an overview of all the users in the directory:
- A list of all the users in this directory,
- Who is logged into which company before loading updates, making a backup, etc.,
- The user’s telephone number and e-mail address,
- Unlock users whose account has been locked.
- Password Control has the following feature:
- Failed Login attempts.
- The Sync User functionality to sync existing users to new companies in the directory, without setting up additional user access for those companies.
- Print Access supplies the Super User with a unique new view of the current user setup and their access in the directory.
- Unique Audit Log for extracting audit info relevant to Global Access Control.
Global Access Control must be licenced but no additional licence fee costs are involved.
